Classic yet preppy !

Hi guys,

This post is all about gingham. It has been in and out of fashion for many years and was initially worn in the 60’s. It forged on as an integral part of summer style fashion, both for men and women.
It's boldly checkered print that can be carried off anywhere and anytime.

Gingham is edgy, fun and being cosmopolitan at the same time. I feel it can be an all-season winner. So, I recently spotted this cute A-line gingham dress and it’s the only checkered outfit in my closet. I absolutely adore my new purchase.

Here I am wearing a one-sided shoulder dress with my black wedges and a mid-sized backpack. I avoided statement jewelry and choose minimalist silver jewelry. Also, I tied my hair up into a sleek braid ponytail to enhance the off shoulder dress.

Two simple recommendations to accentuate this look.

  1. Dress + light weight jacket + boots = Night

  1. Dress +contrasting colored purse + mules = alternative Daytime

Would really love to connect with you so guys let me know what you think about the blog post in the comment bar!

Color Crush for the season - "Lilac"

Hola

How are you guys Doing? My lovely friends, I have been quite late in posting about this color trend on my blog page, living on this island and surrounded with sunshine all day is a blessing. but, it’s better late than never.

I am very excited that pastel shades have been all over the runway this year. But, let’s talk particularly about “Lilac”. This color has been the trendiest shade in fashion.

From luxury fashion to high street fashion, the color symbolizes love and romance, It is young and fresh. The key to wearing and buying lilac clothing is based on your skin tone. For fairer skin tones the color will wash away on your upper torso so choosing darker lilac tones like Violet will be more advisable. Whereas the advantage on darker skin or olive skin-types (just like mine) the color stands out with a gorgeous contrast.

This look can be pulled off anytime in the beautiful island, perfectly coordinated the printed lilac blouse with blush pink shorts ideal for a bright and sunny afternoon brunch or a barbecue. I love the way this look has turned out. What are your thoughts on this look? please comment below!

WHEN THINGS GO DARK, VEGAS SHINES!

Off i was to Las Vegas for the first time in October last month for the ''Hearts on Fire'' training, a jewelery brand, that I've grown into loving after working at my jewelery store in the Cayman Islands. The training was an excellent experience and really makes me ignite passion towards the brand more so than before.

HOF gave us the most loveliest and intriguing sessions from speakers all over the industry during our visit. Starting from the Welcome event Organised, right upto the Awards night, everything was delightful and enjoyable along with the HOF ambassadors from all over the Globe.

The lookbook below is a quick glimpse of the outfits I wore during the business training and the themed parties during our stay in Las Vegas.

I hope you guys love the looks!!! Thanks everyone for reading my post.

Summer Trend '17

Hi there beautiful people!

It's the summer season in Cayman Islands which I absolutely love!!! With this summer getting hotter and humid the combination of having your fruits and wearing it too is a super fun and cool trend of 2017 which, I am obsessing over. I am also making the most of this beautiful weather and enjoying styling myself.

So the focus of the watermelon colour and print has been around the spring/summer catwalk 2017. The blend of fashion and fruits is an excellent transition which is peppy and playful making a statement everywhere.

So, I teamed up a simple knit rib scoop neck t-shirt with the watermelon pattern which is lightweight and also airy because, of the extremely soft cotton material. To make the outfit more chic I styled a pair of denim shorts which is a beautiful watermelon/white merge of colours which pops. To complete the look I've sported some lace loafers and jewelry accessories. The pictures are in the post below.

I hope you guys experiment with some fruity juicy clothing trends for the summer at pool, park, beach or even just a causal lunch.

Please let me know by dropping a comment below if you liked this spring/summer trend.

Magnificent Mont Tremblant

Last month I took some time off to travel to Canada for my cousins wedding. The wedding was indeed beautiful and it was wonderful to meet my family after a long time. This was the perfect holiday to bond and relax with my family.

I’ve always been intrigued by the countryside town so my family decided to take me for a road trip to Mont Tremblant which was a good idea. It was exciting as this was my second countryside holiday after Stonehenge. The drive wasn’t long from Toronto. We reached there about early afternoon and headed out immediately to the main town. We loved strolling around the city with the lush greenery and peaceful surroundings.

This was the most stunning, naturally beautiful countryside village that was surrounded by laurentian mountains, multicoloured buildings and the sweet fragrance of the white blooms.

There was lots of outdoor activities to choose but we wanted to do the most exciting ones, so the Luge and the Gondola Ride was the top most on the list for all of us. The first activity was the panoramic gondola ride which included a back and forth ride to the summit of Mont Tremblant. The view from above was very scenic and breath-taking. Also the second activity “Luge” was a three wheel cart ride controlled by gravity. The ride was super fun as it involved a lot of twists and turns while dodging obstacles down the hill.

We also indulged in the local cuisines and touristy shopping. After spending time in Mont Tremblant this summer I would definitely love to see this beautiful village in the winter and fancy their activities like skiing.

It was a warm sunny day, so i  decided to be comfortable with an airy tropical jumpsuit and wear an open toe comfy sandal so that i could easily walk on the cobbled streets of Tremblant.

Throwback to the Birthday OOTD!

Happy birthday to me!

I Had such a wonderful Sunday afternoon and celebrating my birthday weekend. The gifts, the food, the ocean views & the cocktails were divine. This birthday was quite relaxed with a few friends and my husband so, I thought I should share the outfit, I wore over the birthday weekend.

Since birthdays are special to me, I decided to wear a white asymmetrical bodycon dress which has been in my closet for quite a while and it was the perfect weekend to wear it. I also teamed up two bracelets as a cross over to compliment my bold ring, a glittery clutch and glittery sandals denotes an eddy and chic look to the dress.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post. Have a great week everyone!
